Moses Manwaring was born c.1828 in Salford, Lancashire. in 1881 he was given as a millwright aged 53 living in Old Palace Road, Heigham with his children George, 16, a millwright, Thomas, 13 and daughters Ellen, 26 and Mary A., 19. He was a widower at this time and all the children were born in Norwich.
