drainage pump

River Thurne

Ludham Coldharbour tower drainage mill was built near the east bank of the River Thurne opposite Cold Harbour Farm. The mill had four double shuttered patent sails, struck via a tailpole. The cap with a petticoat turned the sails to wind via a 6 bladed fan.
