Barney south postmill stood on the opposite side of the track and a few yards to the southwest of Barney_north_postmill. It is not known which miller was running which of the three mills, so all names are listed below.


John Baly of Lilham in the County of Norfolk, Mortgagee of the Estate of John Merk & Eliza his Wife. On a Farm House brick built and thatch'd situate in the Parish of Barney in the County aforesaid In the Occupation of Hen. Stangroom, £50. On a Barn adjoining brick built and tyled, £20. On a Farm House brick built and thatch'd situate in the Parish aforesaid in the Occupation of James Seeder, £50. On a Millhouse & Stable adjoining brick Built & tyled and part Thatch'd sit. in ye Yard belonging, £20. On a Backhouse brick built & part tyled & part thatch'd sit. in the said Yard, £20. On a Barn brick built and thatch'd situate in ye Yard aforesaid, £40.
